Kunio Naito,
<\/span>President and CEO<\/h4>\n\n

\nAfter graduation, Kunio joined a well-known translation firm, where he led on sales and planning for several 10 years. During this period, he served as a project manager for large-scale localization projects in addition to managing the content creation department.

\n\nAfter going independent in 2002, Kunio founded Cultemo in 2003. He has been a driving force behind a number of innovative industry initiatives, such as the defining and numerical evaluation of translation quality, the establishment of post editing workflow processes, the creation of the \u201cAstrans\u201d method for agile project management, as well as the training of early career talent.

\n\nKunio\u2019s major at university was haiku (a well-known form of traditional Japanese poetry) research, with a critique of Yosa Buson, a renowned Japanese poet and painter from the Edo period, the topic of his graduation thesis.

\n\nAlong with his college supervisor and mentor, Kunio co-founded the Basho Conference (www.basho.jp), a highly regarded society by both creators and researchers of haiku. He lives in Chiba Prefecture with his wife and enjoys horse racing and city walking. His haiku pen name is \u201cGenryou.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Keisuke Tsutsumi,
<\/span>Director and CFO <\/h4>\n\n

\nAfter graduation, Keisuke worked in sales roles within the finance and medical equipment manufacturing industries. He subsequently spent several 10 years at the managerial level (mainly in the area of accounting) for a multinational manufacturing firm, joining Cultemo in 2019. He has driven forward the stabilization of management via financial planning, in addition to improving the transparency of administrative operations.

\n\nKeisuke handles everything from negotiations with financial institutions to recruitment interviews and general office duties. Within the company, he is known to make an effort to communicate with everyone, from younger employees to Cultemo veterans, adhering to the motto: \u201cA day without laughter is a day wasted.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Shintaro Araki,
<\/span>Director of Translation Quality Management and CKO<\/h4>\n\n

\nAfter graduating from university, Shintaro joined a company that operated mobile application portal sites. He primarily worked in advertising operations and web design. He subsequently moved to Canada for 1 year with the aim of becoming a translator, continuing to learn English through self-study and attending translation school upon returning to Japan. In 2013, he began his career at Cultemo as a translator and reviewer. He currently leads a busy life as Cultemo\u2019s Director of Quality Management and CKO, engaged with client projects, establishing frameworks for quality definition, feedback processes, as well as the training of new employees and freelance partners.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Takao Naito,
<\/span>Auditor (Part-time) <\/h4>\n\n

\nProfessor at Faculty of Policy Studies, Kyorin University. Part-time Lecturer at Seijo University.

\n\nAfter graduating from Seijo University\u2019s Faculty of Economics (Department of Business Administration) in 1986, Takao progressed to graduate school at the same university. He began teaching at Kyorin University in 1990. His main publications include \u201cFuransu ni okeru kaikei hy\u014djunka no kenky\u016b\u201d (\u201cStudies on Accounting Standardization in France\u201d (sole author) (Tokyo Economic Information Publishing), \u201cIFRS o himotoku\u201d (\u201cUnraveling IFRS\u201d (ed.) (Moriyama Bookstore), and \u201c1948-Nen Pari kokusai kaikei kaigi to Furansu kaikei hy\u014djunka shik\u014d\u201d (The 1948 Paris International Accounting Conference and French Accounting Standardization Thought\u201d) in \u201cKyorin Social Science Research,\u201d Volume 31, Issue 2, among others.

\n\nTakao has long served as Head of the Kyorin University Baseball Team, guiding students to victory, and is currently President of the Tokyo New University Baseball League, to which Kyorin University belongs. He contributes to the development of student sport in his capacity as a councilor for the All-Japan University Baseball Federation.\n\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
